Top Twelve Reasons to Love a Dark Hero

Come on! Everyone loves a dark hero!: Everyone roots for the underdog, the guy from the wrong side of the street who looks like a thug but has a heart of gold. They are usually handsome: Most are tall, dark, and handsome, though not always in the traditional sense. Sometimes they are more rugged and very manly. They can be dangerous: Oh yeah – and danger is what attracts us to them. We all love a bad boy. They are sexy: This just goes hand in hand with the handsome and dangerous – those two together are just damn sexy. How they dress: For some reason, most dark hero’s are either in well tailored suits with a trench coat, or jeans, a t-shirt and leather jacket. Either way, they carry themselves well and make you want to peel off those layers. They have a secret to hide: And bless them for letting us get close enough to them for them to share it with us in a most intimate, tender conversation - before intense, mind-boggling sex. They often have money: For some reason, they usually have money – and the majority of time, hide that fact from everyone around them until the end when they realize he IS a good guy. You see, the dark hero wants others to like him for himself, and not his money. They threw away the rose-coloured glasses: Sometimes it’s good to be jarred into reality by someone who doesn’t always look at things in the most positive light. It’s good to realize not everyone and everything is as it should be. It’s great for someone to shake you up and remind you life isn’t fair, and it was never in the rule book life was supposed to be fair. They usually love their pets: Call me crazy, but they often have dogs…and doesn’t every woman love a man who loves his dog? They are mysterious: It is ingrained in every woman that a mysterious man needs a good woman to love. A mystery to solve is a challenge flag thrown upon the battlefield – and women LOVE a challenge. They love hard: When they love you, damnit they love you. And when they tell you, it is usually in a rant they give while in the same breathe yelling about how exasperating you are to them…that’s so completely hot! Think of the sex: They want, they demand, they need, they urge…oh baby…
